Powell Receives National Endorsement from Progressive Democrats of America

by Team Powell

What an honor! Thank you, PDA members. With your help, we’re that much closer to defeating Eric Cantor. The official announcement on the National Progressive Democrats of America website reads:

Wayne received the local 7th District local chapter endorsement in October. In addition to a local endorsement, candidates seeking National endorsement must also be endorsed by the state. PDA Virginia emailed a questionnaire to their membership; PDA Virginia voted to endorse Wayne Powell.

A new website for the holidays

by Wayne Powell

Welcome. After many months of meeting with and listening to constituents here in the 7th District, I’ve refined my stances on the issues. We’ve also added an ideas feature where everyone can submit ideas, and vote up ones you like, to make this campaign as inclusive as possible – just like our government should be.

I’m not a professional politician. Both during the campaign and after entering Congress, my statements and actions will continue to be guided by the principle of justice and not privilege. I don’t know how to be any other way.
