"Powell brings campaign to Goochland"

The Goochland Gazette covered Wayne's recent event in Goochland County:
"Democratic challenger Wayne Powell says Republican Congressman and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is not in touch with the constituents of the 7th District and needs to be replaced.
Powell made his pitch to unseat Cantor during an Aug. 21, open town hall meeting at the White Hawk Music Café on Sandy Hook Road in Goochland that attracted about 30 people.
The 61-year-old Powell is the founder of the Powell & Parrish law firm in Midlothian. He was awarded the Legion of Merit upon his retirement in 2002 as a colonel in the U.S. Army after 30 years of service, five of which were active duty and 25 as a member of the Active Reserves."
